GLOBAL STEM ECOSYSTEMS INITIATIVE

REAL IMPACT IS BUILD TOGETHER

To create meaningful and lasting change in education, no single organization—or government—can do it alone. The greatest impact happens when we work as an ecosystem: joining forces, building networks, and fostering communities of practice and learning.
This is how we work at XSTEM. Learning communities are at the heart of our programs, supporting both young people and educators throughout their learning journeys. We believe these communities help sustain change and extend learning well beyond the duration of each program.
As part of our commitment to strengthening the ecosystem, we build strategic partnerships with organizations, companies, governments, and educational institutions that share this vision. Because high-quality STEM education requires the collaboration of many committed partners.

XSTEM has been selected to join the Global STEM Ecosystems Initiative, a network that brings together community partners—including schools, businesses, nonprofit organizations, governments, and informal education institutions—to create learning environments that prepare the next generation of innovators, engaged citizens, and a competitive workforce.
With more than 120 ecosystems across 43 U.S. states and 8 countries, the initiative reaches approximately 70 million students worldwide. Being part of the STEM Ecosystems Initiative strengthens our commitment to creating high-quality STEM learning opportunities, especially for young people, girls and women, and students in public schools.
Our shared vision with the STEM Ecosystems Initiative empowers students to create, design, and implement innovative solutions that help them understand and contribute to the world around them. Preparing the next generation of changemakers—along with their educators and educational leaders—through STEM education is at the core of our mission.
